Hi Oliver, Yes, you can simply replace the extruder motor with the motor from your printer... you'll need to transfer the two MK8 drive gears to your printer's extruder motor.
As for the GCode, use our Prusa Mini sample gcode as a starting point. You can find it here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Av2Y103sCRZ3m-1BEGOERH2t7oJbBA?e=AIdmOa
As for basic instructions, all you need to do is remove anywhere where we are moving the filament and replace it with your own printer's gcode to do the motion using the extruder. Our post processor handles the reverse direction of the #3 and #4 extruders automatically. (Here's an example of the Mk2 doing the same thing using the old Prusa Mini... but you can see the Mk3 code in the new profile... it's mostly the same except for the button commands are different to match the new Mk3 style of commanding it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxRBXXvShtQ)
You'll also need to install the reversedrive.py post processor. Follow the instructions in the comments of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mpSn5O6pAQ
As for the 1.8mm, yes, you'll want to make sure you use the 1.8mm from the Y adapter all the way into the hot end.
