I just finished installing my 3D Chameleon, but I'm not quite sure how to get the filament loaded. I tried loading the P1P Mode 3 file from Printables, but as soon as I try to print, I get a filament out error. It seems like I'm missing quite a few steps.
The tool head moves to the corner to home the 3D Chameleon, but it doesn't appear to actually load any filament. I was only able to load 3 of the 4 filaments into the 3D Chameleon - the 4th won't move past the 3D Chameleon extruder.
To load the filament, first home it with 7 pulses... that will move the selector to filament #1... from there, manually load filaments #2, #3 and #4 by insert them and pushing them to 1" before the Y adapter. Then press the button for 1 pulse, which will cause the selector motor to switch to filament #1. From there, simply insert filament into #1 and press the button, which will cause the filament to load as long as you are pressing the button. When you let off the button, it will automatically move to #2, where you can manually push the filament in #1 to the correct position. This relies on the fact that you're in Mode 3, which is 10 pulses, and it will cycle through 1, 2 and 3 pulse responses indicating the mode each time you press it for 10 pulses.
