Purchased MK3 2/5/2024. Met Bill at RMRRF 2024, he mentioned switch isn't required for people running Klipper. Is that true for MK3 firmware, or do people need to update to MK4?

If your printer has a filament sensor, then you can use https://github.com/3DCoded/3dchameleon-klipper. I made it to use the filament sensor to detect failed loads and unloads and to allow for more leeway when loading filament.
