I am pretty new to 3d printing and already wanting multi-color and multi material.
Will the 3d chameleon and slicer setting readily handle multi material? I think it is just a matter of temp change at the layer height and material change??
Sure... it's all on the slicer you choose... but pretty much all of them support 4 or more colors (except IdeaMaker, which only supports 2 colors). When the color changes, you have full control over what happens, including adjusting the speeds, temperatures and timing of events. We do not add or remove capabilities to your printer other than the ability to automatically remove and reinsert filament... so if your printer can already print those materials, then it will still be able to with the 3D Chameleon installed.
