Good afternoon,
I have recently purchased a 3d chameleon for installation on the sv06 plus. I had a few questions surrounding the setup. Per previous forum post, i have gone ahead and changed the y axis gcode in the toolchange section from 217 to 297 as well as to 300 for the switch impact. I have verified that the bed impacts this switch when it moves to 300. Now I assumed that we are given a large amount of PTFE tubing and are expected (again assuming) to cut it to length for our appropriate printer? I have not seen this stated in any of the forum posts (I could have missed this in my searching). Per the picture below, I have it installed on the plus. However, am i in correct in assuming that the 3dchameleon and ptfe tube should lead straight to the hole and not be forced in at the angle you see in the picture? Currently, i would have to sand down the zip tie connection location in order for the green tube to sit in a more appropriate vertical position. So to sum up? Am i to cut the ptfe tubing from the motor going into the green piece to length ? Also is the current installation per the picture below correct? Or should i look at sanding down the y joint that holds the dark green plastic piece in place?
Yes, cut them to the proper length to minimize the distance but allow the full travel.
Yes, it should be straight in... Not sure what has changed to cause it, but please feel free to edit the Tinkercad model so straighten it out.
