Hi i have a issue (pretty shure that i am doing something wrong).
Following scenario:
Each Filament is excactly 1" before the y-adapter.
I am doing 5 Pulses (controlled by gpio 5*500ms) to Home and Load T0.
Pressing for exactly 6000ms
T0 Will be loaded and feeded to point "x"
Sending 2 Pulses to switch to T2
Pressing for 6000ms,
T0 will be unloaded and retracted back about 2 inches before the y-adapter
Relesing the "gpio-button"
Pressing again for 6000ms.
T1 is feeded to position X+1"
As result of this the filament of t0 is creeping up the ptfe
does someone know what i am doing wrong?
There are two possibilities. 1, are you sure you're in Mode 3? If you're in Mode 2, it will just automatically move the filament, and it always creeps 1" on each load because the extruder should be compensating for that when it loads. (There is 1" overlap, so it will always unload 10" but load 11"... but if you're not printing, it will look like it's creeping... but the extruder will always correct it.) 2. 1" before the Y adapter means 1" before the highest point of the Y adapter, not 1" before each tube opening. If you don't have it there, it will creep as well, as it would load too far on the initial loads.
Also, don't forget, you can tune the load and unload distances differently... so they go where you want them to. The loading starts the extruder pulling it in, so there is some overlap, and however, during the unloading, the extruder can never unload farther than the drive gears... so that's the static reference point all moves should be based on.
