Since the Voron runs Klipper, you might want to check out the 3MS. It's fully open source, has complete documentation, and is designed specifically for Klipper.
As I understood from the video, this button, which provides the very versatility and autonomy, requires wires that are difficult to normally lead to the flying gantry on the Voron, a much more elegant solution would be to connect it to the GPIO on the raspberry. As I understand it, none of this is currently available and probably never will be. The current solution may be universal, but with a lot of unnecessary wires that will have to be pulled, and all this difficulties, when there is an opportunity to do it all directly from the Klipper, it is much simpler.
I'm not sure where you're getting that information, but it is 100% incorrect. It doesn't go on the extruder and it can quite easily be used with a gpio pin.

It is universal and can be installed on any printer.
