3D Clippy on Prusa Mini+

Hi all,

tried anyone to design a 3D Clippy (or something like that) on a Prusa Mini+? I'm testing 3D Chameleon and it works good, but after 10 min of print, it starts to have some issue with load/unload in zone of Y adapter, despite a good (or, it seems that for the first changes) tuning of Tip shaping.

A filament cut, i think, can improve this part.

More, the issue seems to be in Y adapter, where the 2 way meet.

i’m having friction issues as well there are other 4 to 1 models i may try.

there are a few floating around on printables and thingverse. search "4 to 1 ptfe stl" on google, click on images and find one. the ones imitating bambu labs tend to look more reliable. bambulabs 4 to 1s are only $5! they are supposed to have some sort of spring thing to make loading tpu better i guess? not sure if it will work in this scenario although its wortha shot. i prefer printing everything as one piece myself though. i just got done modeling a auto clippy + 4 to 1 ptfe holder model on tinker cad, although i may edit it to use a different ptfe as well as it is causing some friction issues with me.

i was able to significantly reduce friction using original 4 to 1. tighten the screws. pull a little on the connector with needle nose pliers and push the tube in further. it will snug up better and keep everything aligned better as well.

Yes, that's a requirement of our original design... the PTFE tubes must be pushed all the way into the pockets and the black rings pulled all the way out so that there is no play at all in them. Bad things happen if you don't follow those guidelines. (That's noted in all of our assembly videos.)
