Filament 2 backing out while filament 3 is being loaded

For some reason, filament 2 backs out when filament 3 is loaded, then it gets fully ejected from the 3D chameleon unit. These are the middle two slots, and filament 2 loading doesn't cause filament 3 to back out. Any suggestions?

I had this same exact problem. Here are some questions I will need answered to help you:

-Are you homing the chameleon before loading a color? (hold the switch for 7 pulses to home)

-Did you print every part at the same time out of PETG (or did you order the unit instead of building your own?)

-Did you accidentally home your chameleon with the extruder and selector motor cables swapped?

Hi Liam, this is happening during a print, it functions fine manually when I am loading colors but during the print, it is doing the back out during the load thing. I bought the unit instead of making it, and I don't believe I homed the unit with the motors swapped. I read that other post and I will adjust the pause timing to allow the chameleon more time to switch that seems like the biggest difference between manual vs tool head-driven swaps and I will let you know the results

This may happen to me later, since I haven't printed anything yet (I am waiting to perfect my autoclippy) but I simply reprinted all parts at 100% infill with black PETG and after making sure of all the other things like homing, it worked for me.
