This may seem silly, but I cant for the life of me actually add filament into the 3D chameleon. I’m able to insert filament into the printer on the 1 and 2 hole, but not the 3 and 4. I’m using the MK3 if that helps.
Thanks, I’ve just inserted everything, it’s expecting to start the print with no filament in the hot end? just every one of them loaded an inch before the adapter?
You're actually showing the filament already loaded in #3 and #4. (White is #3 and black is #4.)Just move the selector to another color and insert them with it not being selected. (It's normal that you can't load it when that color is active... since the selector has moved the drive bearing to grab the filament. Here's an easy to load the filament.Press for 10 pulses... the unit will respond with a single pulse. When that happens, you can then press for 7 pulses, which will home the unit to #1.From there, you can load #2, #3 and #4. Once they're loaded, you can press for 4 pulses to grab #4. Once it's grabbed it, you can load #1.
Be sure to push them all to about 1 inch (2.5cm) before the Y adapter.
Once they are loaded, press it for 10 more pulses... the unit will respond with 2 more.
Then you can do a 7 pulses press to home it again.
That's where it's expecting to start when a print begins.
