Do we have to reset to Mode 3 and rehome before each print? I ask because I'm not getting filament to extrude. So, I do a mode check and it's Mode 1. I then set it to mode 3. I rehome with the seven pulses. But I get no filament to extrude still.
The printhead prints the object. Then it does the wipe tower. Then it moves to the second object, all without a single bit of filament being extruded.
It thinks its working but alas, it is not.

It has proper start, end and tool change sample gcodes to show all the operations. (Just use this as a model to see how it's done.)

You should never be changing the operating mode during a print. That is a one time setup at installation time and it will remember that from that point on.
If you do it every print, the printer will have way of knowing the responses... and the 3DChameleon will have no understanding of mode you want to be in, so you'll simply get a cycling of the modes for every print... with only 1 out of 3 being the proper one.
