Uart mode and MK4....I saw a video on youtube about the advantage of using this feature, but I can't find nothing about its implementation.
I have three motherboards with klipper (a CRAMPS, a RADDS and a Octopus Pro) and they have at least 2 stepper drivers free, but I think it's simplier use a CNC v4 to do some test at first.
Have someone some experience of UART mode with 3d Chameleon mk4?
Thanks for all and ....a colorfull nice day for all the members of this forum!
Thanks. I'm interesting in fully automatic load/unload using TMC features and also about sensorless function....any news?
If you use the CNC Shield v4, get this pack: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2251832035811475.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.3.2f3215adfQEiSj&algo_pvid=bfa83a60-9d2b-4d38-ae6a-1a974e2208a7&algo_exp_id=bfa83a60-9d2b-4d38-ae6a-1a974e2208a7-1&pdp_npi=4%40dis%21USD%2119.99%2119.99%21%21%2119.99%2119.99%21%402101c5b217370716376766306ed66a%2155305829959%21sea%21US%216247198423%21X&curPageLogUid=tG5JwUDXq0i1&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch%7Cquery_from%3A
It doesn't have any of the problems that all the cloned ones have, and works right out of the box, unlike the clones that require some soldering and pin isolating. Plus, it comes with the arduino and stepper drivers as well.
You need to refer to those boards documentation on using UART mode for them... as it has nothing to do with the 3DChameleon itself... you're only setting up the stepper motor drivers in Klipper. The macros that folks have already developed shouldn't change... it's only the configuration for Klipper that changes.
